HOLDING/SALES POLICY
HOLD= in email with potential buyer but please inquire.
PENDING = 50% non-refundable deposit received.
SOLD = self explainatory.
*I can deliever within reason, but do require a fee depending on the distance*
50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold a baby till weaned and must be received no later than one week after stating you want it. After that it will go back up for sale.If buyer changes his/her mind after sending deposit, then rabbit will go back up for sale and buyer forfits deposit.
Full payment is due upon pick up. Cash only. Babies must be picked up or arranged time for pick up ( if delievering ) on day ready with grace period of 5 days after. If goes past 5 days, a boarding fee of $1.50 will be added to each day rabbit is here up to total of 10days after date weaned. Then will return for sale if not claimed, and buyer forfits deposit.
If buyer has paid in full, and goes past 10days after wean date, rabbit goes back up for sale, and buyer forfits payment ( granted no other arrangements have been made ). Buyer who pays in full and goes past the 5 day grace, will owe the boarding fee before rabbit can leave.
HEATH GUARANTEES-ONE WEEK PERIOD
Health guarantees are for one week from the time the bunny/bunnies have left my residence. I do not guarantee animals once in a middle parties hands (shipping/transport).
I will replace the rabbit for equal value, same sex should it become ill or die within the 1 week period. I do not offer cash back, only replacement.
"Equal value" is up to my discretion - I will send photos and once again inform you of strengths and weaknesses to be the best of my knowledge and opinion. It is your final decision as to whether you would like the replacement or will forfeit it. I am willing to allow one refusal, but you would then have to take the next one offered. If you would like one better, then you are welcome to pay the difference if I have something available.
All illness must please be reported within 12 hours of the onset of the illness.
Any ill rabbit must be seen by a qualifed vet.
For the replacement to take place, the forfeited (live) rabbit will need to be returned to me at the purchaser's expense within or shortly after the one week period.
Photos of deceased rabbit/s is needful for replacement.
If the rabbit dies do to a proven genetic health problem, please email me asap with copies mailed to me from a qualified vet, and I will replace the animal.
Replacement does not cover shipping or anyother costs (my travel costs ect), this will be the purchaser's responsibility.
Should there not be any replacements available then you may be put on a wait list until one becomes available.
I do not reimburse or contribute to any veterinary or necropsy bills.
I guarantee the rabbits to be free of malocclusion at the time of the sale.
No rabbit that shows aggressive behavior is kept at Blue Pez Rabbitry, nor are these types of rabbits intentionally sold. I try to ensure the best possible health and temperament of all rabbits sold. I most commonly hear that my bunnies have very nice temperaments so I do hope I can continue the trend! : )
Exclusions from the Health Guarantee on the above are as follows:
Any illness or death that is not reported within the 1 week period (and within 12 hours of the onset of illness) from the time of purchase.
Improper diet (please note - no veggies for rabbits before 5 months of age. Please use food provided until weaned from my food to yours - rabbits)
Abusive or improper handling, neglect or accidental death.
Extreme temperature fluctuations.
Improper or unsafe housing causing sickness or death.
Unsanitary living conditions.
Injury from other animals.
Death or illness due to travel stress.
I DO SHIP RABBITS.
Please note that shipping can be very stressful on rabbits, but they can ship well if in proper crate. In order to ship via airlines buyer is responsible for the cost of:
*Vet check/health certificate
*Crate/crock dishes
*Time/Gas to the airport
*Airfare
*Cost of rabbit(s)
and if shipping international you will be also responsible for:
*export fee
*customs fee
I guarantee my animals to the time I drop them off at cargo along with the health certificate. I do not guarantee live arrival..BUT I have not had any issues.
